ABOUT US

Numeridex was established in 1965 as a partnership in Chicago and became incorporated as an Illinois Corporation a year later. Originally concentrated in the manufacturing of metal cabinets used for the storage of NC (numerically controlled) polyester control tape, and later expanded its product line to include NC control tape, becoming one of the largest distributors of this product in the United States.

In 1974 the company moved to Wheeling, IL, where it is still located today. Over the years Numeridex continue to produced many newer and more sophisticated microprocessors based on NC programming systems, until in 1989 the Company sold its electronic products division to Automation Intelligence Inc.

As a result Numeridex management decided to redirect its efforts into Label and Bar code products. We have been providing the highest quality products including Thermal Transfer, Direct Thermal, Laser, GHS, Dymo and EDP labels, as well as ribbons for Thermal Transfer and Flexible Packaging applications. Numeridex Thermal Elite products are designed to work with Thermal Printers including Zebra, Datamax, Intermec, Sato, and Eltron, as well as with Flexible Packaging Printers including Markem, Videojet and Norwood.

We offer a total solution to your product identification needs by providing the broadest line of label and ribbon materials to enable you to print your own labels, or by providing custom printed labels using a full spectrum of color.  Our product line ranges from the most popular blank paper labels for simple product identification and bar code applications, to labels for specialized uses that included UL or CSA approvals, harsh environmental conditions and special security concerns.
